We stayed for a night and, wow, the smell in our room was just awful! Like, strong cigarette smoke and a weird musty vibe. The staff tried to help but it felt like a shrug. Also, there’s a low toilet that made it hard to get up! On the plus side, the breakfast staff were super nice and kept things tidy.

It wasn’t exactly a bargain, but given the service, I’d say it was acceptable.

The staff went out of their way to accommodate us, making us feel welcome. We enjoyed the nearby Grand Bay National Estuarine Research Reserve, which was a hit with the kids.

As a single traveler, I appreciated the warm hospitality from the staff who made me feel at home during my stay.
